What are the main types of learning styles?

How can different learning styles be accommodated in e-learning material?

Engagement of learners is key to the effectiveness and therefore usability of e-learning. Another important related factor is intrinsic motivation to learn. The learner may be less engaged with e-learning that does not accommodate their learning style; the learner may find it more challenging to gain knowledge and reduced motivation to learn might result. Accounting for learning styles may therefore enhance usability of e-learning.
