Integrating with each HEI's Learning and Teaching systems was a key part of the goal of ALPS. To see ALPS successfully embedded it was necessary to prove the ability for the work of ALPS to enhance and progress existing teaching and learning in the five ALPS partners.

To this end ALPS successfully bid for a number of enhancement projects which funded work looking at the ways in which ALPS could link to existing University systems and also where it could support development of new systems to increase the potential of existing systems.
