SUMMARISE

The student sees the patient to obtain the history and perform the physical examination, as appropriate. Then the student presents the case to the teacher in a concise summary. The summary should not occupy more than half the time of the learning encounter and is typically no longer than three minutes. This requires the summary to be condensed to only the relevant information.
