Many publications report that newly qualified Health and Social Care professionals taking up their first post can feel unprepared for the role. The key to equipping these professionals for the ’real world’ is increased partnership between HEIs, students and stakeholder employers to improve work-based learning. This is ALPS core work.
Pedagogy

ALPS has also produced Globalised Skills and Attributes Maps (GSAMs) in response to interest in common competences from professions outside health and social care.
