The key to equipping these professionals for the ’real world’ is increased partnership between HEIs, students and stakeholder employers to improve work-based learning. This is ALPS core work.

Pedagogy

Find out how ALPS is achieving its mission in consultation with Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies– through the provision of Common Competency Maps and Assessment Tools for 16 health and social care professions.

ALPS has also produced Globalised Skills and Attributes Maps (GSAMs) in response to interest in common competences from professions outside health and social care.
