How can I use reflective practice in my teaching?
Reflective practice can be used to assess students experience in practice, so for example completing a reflective account after ward rounds or surgery. It can also be used by the student themselves for formative self assessment- i.e. informal assessment for learning instead of tutor marked "summative" assessment. Reflective writing on group tasks and discussions is a good way of encouraging students to see the value in team working and learning. There are many ways to use reflection, these are just a few
