Assessment and feedback
How can progress and learning be monitored?
How can the effectiveness of e-learning be judged?
Learning is often measured through assessment and feedback. Incorporating assessment into the design of e-learning materials can provide an objective measurement of its effectiveness in facilitating learning. Informative feedback from assessment enables learners to compare their knowledge with learning objectives, and reflect on their strengths and areas for improvement. It is also important that the learner provides feedback to the designer when evaluating the usability of e-learning. |
