What a Supervisor should NOT do
Set unreasonable expectations - remember to consider issues such as resources, student skills, time-scale
Micro-manage - avoid controlling the project, just effective communication
Lose your temper - discuss the problem and turn your frustrations into a teaching opportunity
Change priorities often - constantly changing focus of the project distracts and demotivates
Do the students work - it is their learning experience, they should be doing the majority of the work
